“I have annoying thin, frizzy hair that normally needs a heavy conditioner, blow dry and straighteners plus serum to get it under control. Until I go out in the humidity, and then it all goes to custard.
I got the $65 40ml pack, which arrived within a week from Brisbane. I thought it was worth a shot for that price. We watched the video instructions, which were detailed but quite straightforward. I sectioned my hair and hubby applied the product for me. It was nice to have a bit of help, but I think it’s definitely possible to do this yourself even with no prior experience.
The before photo is hair that had been straightened, then caught in light rain. The second photo is straight after I washed off the conditioning treatment: totally air dried, no serum, no hair dryer, no straighteners. OMG I’m so impressed! My hair has NEVER looked like this! The third photo is a week and 2 washes later. Again: no dryer, no straighteners, no product.

Jenn’s tips for first-timers
- Allow 3.5 hours start to finish, don’t rush it
- Split hair into very small sections for straightening
- Ventilate the room well during the heat stage, an air purifier helped us
- A second pair of hands makes the back sections much easier
